The brief for this contemporary home in Johannesburg required the renovation of an existing house, designed by a prominent architect. 

 

The client wanted to make it their own, while being mindful of the original proportions and quality of light within the house.   The alterations included creating open-plan spaces for entertaining, extending the bedrooms and creating a family lounge.
